In life we will all face challenges, some more traumatic than others. I truly believe that each event or incident whether good or bad plays a role in shaping us to become the best version of ourselves. Most importantly, whenever we go through something, big or small we must speak about it, giving others the courage to do the same and reminding them that they are never alone so we can heal as a collective and as cliché as it sounds, make the world a better place.

 Below are some of my favorite quotes that have helped me throughout this crazy journey we call life, I hope you always turn to them whenever you need a pick me up.

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross 

I have a deep appreciation for this quote because sometimes we tend to forget the real meaning of something ‘beautiful’. Kübler-Ross is reminding us that beautiful does not always mean flawlessly perfect.

“Show me a hero, and I’ll write you a tragedy.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald

 I find this short quote very powerful, because it is letting us know that despite the tragedies one may face, being able to get through them makes us nothing but heroes.
